Ram’s Gate Winery, a small-lot fine wine producer of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay located in the Carneros AVA of Sonoma County, has opened distribution in Texas through an exclusive agreement with Local Source Beverage. This expansion comes on the heels of other new distribution partnerships in Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Since Winemaker and General Manager Joe Nielsen joined the Ram’s Gate team in 2018, our portfolio has been elevated to new heights, and we have slowly and deliberately selected key partnerships to continue our long-term growth as a brand.”
Local Source Beverage is led by David Verheyen, who has worked in the wine industry since 1989. The team at Local Source focuses on local Texas markets, bringing fine wines from around the world to Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and beyond.
“We have spent the last five years really dialing in on the quality of our wines. We have formed new partnerships with coopers and hidden gem vineyard sites while also transitioning our own estate vineyard to organic farming practices to create wines that are concise and compelling,” says Nielsen. “We are excited to widen the swath of markets where Ram’s Gate is available to wine lovers and have plans to continue the expansion of our distribution through this year and into 2024.”
The Ram’s Gate 2021 Estate Pinot Blanc, 2021 Estate Sauvignon Blanc, 2018 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, 2018 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, 2018 Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay and 2019 Bush Crispo Pinot Noir are available nationally through select distribution partners.
