Wonder Women of Wine Takes Learning Sessions Online with Texas Tuesday Series

Wonder Women of Wine (WWOW) announces the kick-off of a brand new “Texas Tuesday” series showcasing women who are driving the Texas wine industry to new heights. The inaugural interview and virtual tasting will feature Susan Auler, owner of Fall Creek Vineyards, on Tuesday, April 28 from 6-7 p.m.

WWOW founder Rania Zayyat will talk with Susan about her pioneering work in the Texas wine industry (including creating the Texas Hill Country Wine & Food Festival), her experiences working as a pioneer in the Texas wine industry, her perspectives on women in the wine business, and more, while enjoying a few terroir-driven bottles from Fall Creek Vineyards collection.

In fact, WWOW has selected a few Fall Creek wines to taste and talk about as they explore the history of winegrowing in Texas: Fall Creek Vineyards Classics Chenin Blanc, Terroir Expressions Chardonnay, Terroir Expressions GSM, and Meritus.

You can purchase these wines online or call ahead for curbside pickup. Order by Wednesday, April 22 for delivery in time for the broadcast — or you may elect to pick up your wines from either of Fall Creek Vineyards hill country tasting room locations.

Please RSVP to join the tasting on GoToMeeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28.

To follow up on the kick-off with Susan Auler, WWOW, the Texas Tuesday series will continue with Dr. Julie Kuhlken, WSET III of Pedernales Cellars on May 12 and Certified Wine Educator, Jen Beckmann, of Slate Mill Wine Collective on May 26.
